Embassy Medical Center (EMC) Project
Silvermere Group is proposing to develop Sri Lanka's first world-class destination hospital, to be designed and managed by American health care professionals, and to be a leader in sustainable health care design, JCI accredited, with top medical technologies, official collaboration with leading hospitals in USA and UK for information and knowledge sharing, a family-oriented and child-friendly atmosphere, and serving local & regional residents as well as western visitors interested in cost-competitive medical care coupled with tropical vacation tourism. We intend to bring Sri Lanka into the top tier of health-care destination tourism.
Our government allocated land is extremely well located, mid-way between the city of Colombo and the Bandaranaike International Airport, on a newly constructed city-airport highway. It will be the closest hospital to the airport and most convenient for visiting patients coming through the airport, and for local patients and doctors coming from Colombo.
This project has full government cooperation including Flagship Status with the Sri Lankan Board of Investment (BOI) (www.boi.lk) qualifying it for tax holiday, duty-free imports and repatriation of foreign investment.
We intend to market the medical services to local Sri Lankan, Indian and Maldivian residents who currently travel to Singapore or Thailand for premium medical care, and also to Arab, European and Australian and even US health tourists. An on-site helipad will allow convenient travel from the facility to Sri Lankan, Maldivian or Indian resorts for post-op rest and relaxation.
Our vision is to offer Sri Lanka's first private medical insurance program, a nursing school to graduate top qualified nurses for employment around the world, and a foundation to provide free medical care to poor and needy families. We also intend to develop a network of affiliated satellite clinics to serve rural populations in the North and East.
This facility could serve as a model for the region, providing health care for the poor and the wealthy and capitalizing on the growing tourism to Sri Lanka and the growing trend of travel for competitively priced quality health care services. We also would like the facility to serve as a center for bio-medical research.
We invite serious investors to consider being a part of this plan. US $5 Million investment minimum. If you are interested in joining our team as an owner, or in locating bio-medical research in Sri Lanka, please contact us.
